My First MAC Lipsticks: Creme In Your Coffee, Rebel, Plumful, & Ruby Woo

Isn't it crazy that with an excessive makeup collection like mine that I don't own any MAC Lipsticks at all? Well now, ladies and gents, I own four!

The lipstick colors that I'm going to feature in this post are Creme In Your Coffee, RebelPalmful, and Ruby Woo. All of these lipsticks were gifted by my very good friends who I love, appreciate, and understand my love (obsession) with makeup. Thanks you guys!

So check out my thoughts on each lipstick and what they look like on my lips. I'm so excited to share this with you all.

Claims: Colour plus texture for the lips! Stands out on the runway. Simmers on the street. What made M-A-C- famous.

The first MAC lipstick that I want to talk about is Cream In Your Coffee. I mean, look it. It just looks like the perfect everyday color for my skintone. I discovered this lipstick through my BFF Danielle when I saw her applying it on her lips. She has a slightly lighter tan skintone than I do but it looked SOOOOOO good on her. Her lips looked super voluptuous!

I absolutely love this lipstick. It is a cremesheen finish and is described as a creamy mid-tone pink brown. This lipstick goes on super smoothly on my lips. It wears for a good amount of time if I don't eat or drink anything. But even then, I just have to do a few light touch ups.  It doesn't look clumpy or make my lips dry, it's just silky. This is by far my favorite MAC lipstick ever. It's my go to, my ride or die. I seriously could not be without it. It's always in my makeup bag!

The next lipstick I have here is Rebel. Rebel has got to be the most famous lipstick color out of the bunch that I have beside Ruby Woo. It's seriously been featured in so many youtube beauty videos that I just had to try this lipstick out.

Rebel is absolutely stunning on tanner skin tones because it compliments the skin so well. It is a beautiful bright vampy color and you can really layer this on to get the full opacity. Rebel is a satin finish lipstick so it's not drying at all. MAC describes this lipstick as a midtonal cream plum. I find that it fades nicely throughout the day because it stains. Not in that awkward chunky way where you can see dry skin on my lips like some lipsticks. But at the end of the day the stain will definitely look highlighter pink. But hey, I don't mind, as long as it looked good all day. This is definitely a favorite for me out of the bunch in terms of being bold.

The next lipstick that I have is MAC's Plumful.I found out about Plumful through essiebutton on youtube and through our very own Jalisa. She was wearing this color one day and I was like GIRL YOUR LIPS LOOK AMAZING WHAT IS THAT. And she was just like this is the color essiebutton raves about! So I had to try it out since it looked sooooooo good on both of them.

Plumful is a lustre finish and is described on the MAC website as a blossoming rose plum. On my lips, it is exactly that. It applies on nicely and evenly and is super comfortable on the lips. But, I feel like it doesn't suit my skin tone as much as I had hoped it would. I'm personally not into bright colors but to me this lipstick is quiet bright. I can definitely pull it off on a certain type of day but I just don't find myself reaching for it as much as the other two lipsticks. It is a very pretty color but it's just not for me!

And finally, the final MAC lipstick that I own is Ruby Woo. This lipstick is a retro matte finish and is described as a very matte vivd blue red color. This is such a beautiful lipstick to use in order to achieve a very "classic" makeup look. I love to reach for this lipstick when I feel like I need to amp up my look.

Although this is a retro matte finish, I don't feel it as drying on my lips as long as I moisturized it. This definitely lasts all day unless I eat something super oily, then I get that inner lip fade. But of course, a light touch up, does the trick.

Overall, the MAC lipsticks that I have are so worth the hype. I want to try out more! Please leave me some suggestions on which MAC lipsticks I should invest in. As always, please follow the blog and all other social media links as well as my Bloglovin'! I would totally appreciate it and would do the same :D

Love Always,
