Lashes & Lingerie: Adore Me Lingerie

(courtesy of: Adore Me)

Let's be honest. We all love to dress up on the outside but once in a while we have to treat ourselves by dressing up on the inside. #treatyoself

I was inspired by Adore Me to participate in their Lashes & Lingerie challenge and create amazing beauty looks that I think you all would enjoy. Adore Me is a store as well as a monthly subscription box that is all about the lingerie. It caters to all women of sizes with their range starting from size XS - 6XL, which in my opinion is absolutely amazing. They sell bras, panties, swimwear, corsets, and lingerie. With their amazing variety, you can either buy individual pieces or participate in their monthly subscription service.

In the subscription service, you can either opt to be a VIP member or a Pay As You Go member. Either member must take the style profile quiz in order for Adore Me to construct your unique box. After, each month you'll receive a showroom of what your lingerie of the month will be. Now the subscription service retails for $39.95. There are specific benefits when it comes to being a VIP member or a Pay As You Go Member. As a Pay As You Go Member, you get to have a beauty room each month and you get free shipping and exchanges. Whereas, with the VIP member benefits, you get a showroom each month, your first box is only $24.95 and every sixth box you get is free, you get $10 off any style any time, free shipping and exchanges, exclusive access to VIP only sales and sets, and finally you get to skip a month if you don't like what you see in your showroom. The company seems very flexible with how their membership and benefits work and overall the service seems easy.

Since Spring is now in full effect, I wanted to gather inspiration from Adore Me's new spring collection as well as from their newest sexy lingerie collection. Now let's start with the sexy ;)

This gorgeous lingerie set is called the Kacie. There is a variety of colors from this particular lingerie and the color shown here is an all over vibrant red. The details of this set is as follows: is a push up plunge, underwired, has a double row hook and eye closure, has fully adjustable straps, is a polyamide and elastane mix, comes with a thong or bikini underwear, and ranges from size 32A to 38DD.

This set is absolutely inspiring and here's my glam mood board to go with it.

As you all know, I'm the kind of girl that loves to mix her high end products with drugstore products and that always shows when I talk about beauty products here on the blog. These are products that I would use with this lingerie set and here's why.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation - To me when it comes to a sexy look, I like to look as matte as possible. The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Powerless Foundation has been my personal go to a matte look. Pair it with the matching powder, and you'll have a flawless look all day or night (wink wink).

Tarte Tartlette Palette - This is an amazing palette filled with matte eyeshadow colors. This palette ranges from neutral brown tones, to mauve tones, and to your classic black. Achieve a cut crease look with this palette by layering the colors Dreamer and Multi-tasker in the crease. Use Force of Nature all over the lid to highlight that definition made in the crease. Then, use Bombshell in the outer corner of the lid to deepen the look a little more. Blend away to make the eyes look even and effortless. And finish off with Free Spirit as a brow highlight and a subtle wing liner with your favorite eyeliner and BAM! You've just achieved an effortless cut crease look.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara - This mascara will give you lashes to die for. This lingerie look definitely deserves bold, voluminous, and lengthening lashes and this mascara does just that. The wand/applicator is unique itself with it being slim and grabbing every single lash. It works really well on the bottom lashes and makes your eyes appear larger. With the shadow to mascara combination, your eyes will look super sultry and flirty.

Gerard Cosmetics Lipstick in Fire Engine - After applying your choice of blush and bronzer, top off the look with the ever so red hot Gerard Cosmetics lipstick in Fire Engine. It is literally the color of a newly painted Fire Engine...I'm not kidding. Gerard Cosmetics make awesome matte lipsticks and this one is no exception. It's smooth and creamy and it doesn't dry out your lips. It's pretty long lasting considering it doesn't promote itself as a long lasting lipstick. Now you might think that having bright bold red lips is just too much for this lingerie but, it's not. It makes a statement and knowing that you look sexy on the inside as well as on the outside is the point.

I think that this combination of this makeup look and lingerie set will make you feel so glamorous and empowering about yourself.

But if you're not one to feel sexy in bold lingerie, then the next set that I drew inspiration from will be more for you.

This set is called the Audrina. This is part of Adore Me's spring sexy lingerie collection. Yes, this is still sexy but not in such a daring color as red. Just like the Kacie, Audrina comes in a variety of colors but the color up above is a beautiful pastel lilac purple color. The details of this set from the site is as follows: is a balconette push up bra, has underwiring, has double row hook and eye closure, is made with polyamide and elastane, has the matching panty in cheeky thong or bikini, and the bra comes in size 32BB to 38DD.

This set is absolutely adorable yet subtly sexy at the same time, that it wasn't hard to draw inspiration from. So here's my glam mood board to go with it.

Again with the mix of high end and drugstore products but ya know me :D With this lingerie set, I was inspired by the colors of spring and how bright, playful, and sexy the set is. These are the products that would use if I wore this lingerie set.

Em Cosmetics Love Me For Me Flawless Foundation - I wanted this look to be more natural and glowy, so I chose this specific foundation. This Love Me For Me Flawless foundation is a beautiful light to medium sheer finish. It won't give you super coverage but it'll give you a nice and natural even skin tone.

L'oreal La Palette Nudes 2 - This is a brand new product from the drugstore and I've only used it a couple of times but I know that I already love this palette. The shadows are super creamy and pigmented and easy to work with. It comes with shimmer and matte shadows which is awesome for the drugstore. This version of the the La Palette Nudes is a more mauve tone palette and can be compared to the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette except not as pink toned. Since this palette does not have names for each individual shadow, I can't really give you a specific look but I would say go super simple. Foil a shimmer shadow with either water or Fix Plus from MAC and place that all over the lid. To blend that foil shadow in, use the purple mauve in the crease lightly. Then, for added definition, use the darkest matte shadow, which is a plum black in the outer corners of the eyes. This is such a simple and drugstore friendly look for a sweet and playful lingerie set.

L'oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara - You guys have to have heard about mascara because I swear not a single soul has anything negative to say about it. The L'oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara adds lots of volume, lengthens, and defines your lashes in order for them to stand out. It keeps a great curl throughout the day and really opens up the eyes for a doe like look.

Too Faced Soulmates Blush & Bronzer in Ross + Rachel - The fact that this bronzer is called Ross + Rachel is more than enough for me to convince you all that this is a great bronzer. But hey, I'll get into it. This bronzer is meant for medium to deep skin tones but Too Faced of course has the alternative for fair to light skin tones in Carrie + Big. Both blush and bronzer duos give such a nice natural glow to the skin. It has slight shimmer to it but that just adds beautifully to the luminance of the skin and the Ross + Rachel du's pink blush really compliments the bronzer. The bronzer really warms up the skin and is so easy to use that you can't go wrong with it. A bronzed and luminous skin tone is I believe suits best with this lingerie set.

E.L.F. Baked Highlighter - Highlight is the top priority to achieve a glowy and luminous look. This E.L.F. Baked Highlighter is such a hidden gem. It applies highlighter on smoothly and doesn't deposit product too much. It gives such a beautiful glow to the skin which really compliments the warmth from the bronzer in this look.

NYX Cosmetics High Voltage Lipstick - And to finally complete this look, go for a nude pink lipstick. The NYX Cosmetics High Voltage Lipstick is a super pigmented and creamy finish lipstick. The color here is called Sweet 16 and is a beautiful glossy finish. The gloss wears down to a more natural finish but it wears pretty well throughout the day. A pink like this is perfect for a natural look and really compliments the lilac color of the Audrina lingerie set.

And these are the finished beauty looks for the both sets of lingerie! I hope you liked this post and if you're interested in amazing lingerie, please check out Adore Me.
