We've Been Nominated For The Liebster Award!

How sweet it was to receive a comment from Lazerlips Loves or xxlazerlipsxx or Rachel and find that she has nominated us for a Liebster Award! Neither Jalisa or I knew what a Liebster Award is so I did some research and here's what I've found. 

This information is from Wording Well and it says that the Liebster Award is an award give to bloggers by bloggers. It's like a chain letter. Remember back in the day Facebook and Myspace where your friends "tagged" you in a post and you had to keep tagging other friends to keep the post moving on? Well this is it! You can choose to accept it or ignore, it's really up to you. So, because we want to be a part of the fellow blogger community we decided to accept it! And it seems fun anyways.

Here Are The Rules:

1. You must link back to the person who has nominated you.
2. You must answer the 11 questions given by the person who nominated you.
3. You pick 11 nominees with under 200 followers to answer your questions.
4. You cannot nominate the person who nominated you.
5. You must tell the nominees that they have been nominated by you.

Simple as that right? So let's get on with these questions!

1. What made you want to create a blog?

We're both crazy makeup enthusiasts and we have been for a couple of years now so it seems natural to have a blog. We started out wanting a youtube channel and I was the one who suggested we start out with a blog first. The youtube thing hasn't started up yet but the blog has and we've both been enjoying working on it.

2. What do you enjoy most about blogging?

Honestly, it's all the makeup we both get to try out. I mean we buy everything with our own money but its fun to share what we think about it and such. It sucks on our wallets but it feeds our addiction! 

3. If you had to choose just one makeup item, what would it be and why?

For me personally (aka Daisy) it would have to eyeliner. I CANNOT live without eyeliner, it makes such a difference! Without it I look dead.

As for me (Jalisa), I would say mascara. I have very thin eyelashes, and I instantly look more awake when I put on mascara. 

4. Do you watch any Youtuber's? If so, who do you like to watch the most?

Psh, do we watch Youtuber's? Um, almost every single day! It's part of my morning and evening routine. I get up, put on the latest youtube video and do my makeup. I go to bed and watch at least three you tuber videos before I go to bed. It's ridiculous! My favorite (or favorites) would be itsjudytime, itsjudyslife, clothes encounters, and honestly many more. But those would be my top three.

Lol, I am in the same situation as Daisy. My favorite YouTubers to watch are itsjudyslife and SACCONEJOLYs. I can't go through my day without watching their vlogs :)

5. How did you choose your blog name and what's the meaning behind it?

We took a really long time thinking up a name for our blog. We had a bunch of ideas, even asking our friend Danielle for help. I honestly don't recall how we got to amaryllis but I'm pretty sure Jalisa had looked it up but the name of Amaryllis is a whole story. But today, it is a flower. We have the story on our blog in the description so go check that out there! It's a good one.

6. What is your favorite film/movie of all time?

Anyone that knows me personally can vouch for my absolute obsession with Pride & Prejudice! It is my ABSOLUTE favorite movie of all time. Nothing can beat it. I'm Jane Austen obsessed. 

Honestly, I don't really have a favorite movie... I just like to watch movies in general.

7. How would you describe you style (clothing etc, general look)?

Wow, that's a tough one. Um, comfy? Like I love leggings and anything flowy. I'm really into floral and vintage as of late and I want to start getting into dresses. 

My style is very basic. I am more into classic styles, spiced with accessories, such as scarves. 

8. Who would you class as your role model (famous/or not)?

Wow, this is really hard but famous wise my top three would Lucille Ball, Judy Garland, and Jane Austen. I get obsessions quiet often like I'll love a certain person for a while and than move on but these three have been consistent. As for not famous it has got to be my mother. How very cliche right? But I love my mom through everything and I admire the amazing woman that she is.

My role models are my parents. 

9. What would you say your best feature is (looks/personality etc)?

Um that's tough. I'm not a very self confident person but looks wise I would say my smile? I like my smile? And for personality it would definitely have to be my listening skills. I always listen to others attentively. It's the psychologist in me I guess. 

Daisy says my lips are very nice (BODACIOUS!!!!). I guess that would have to be my best feature? As for personality, I would have to say that I am a very sarcastic and blunt.

10. If you could choose one superpower what would it be and why?

I think I've always said that I wanted telekinesis. Honestly, it's the lazy part in me. I just want to have the power to get my charger from the floor without moving ;)

I think I would want to have the ability to time travel. That would be very cool.

11. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I love watching movies, watching TV shows, and watching dramas. Lol I'm such a computer person its ridiculous. I need a new hobby. 

I like to go shopping, hang out with friends and just lounging around. These things are a real stress reliever, especially as a busy college student.
