Review: Colourpop Cosmetics New Fall Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks

If you haven't read my blog post/review of the Colourpop Cosmetics Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks then click here and basically you'll know that I love them. So when Colourpop came out with new shades for the fall, I just had to grab them!

The new colors that I picked up are Clueless, Beeper, Kapow, and Bad Habit. These four liquid lipstick shades are all perfect for the fall. First off the bat, they are the classic Colourpop matte liquid lipstick formula that I love. They come in the same packaging as all the other permanent liquid lipsticks. I'm not sure if these four colors are going to be part of the permanent collection but so far on their website they are still stocked.

The first liquid lipstick that I want to talk about is Clueless. 

Clueless is described as the "Never look like a full-on Monet in this dusty mauve pink" on the Colourpop website. On my skin this is a really beautiful pink shade. Normally, I don't go for such pinks but in all honestly I bought this for the shade name (wink wink). I think this can be more flattering on lighter skin tones since it can wash me out because it is pale and white based. But, with the right eye look, I can definitely see myself pulling this off. And, it's such a great everyday lip shade. 

 The next shade that I have is called Beeper.

The color Beeper is a "call me, beep me, if you wanna reach me in this warm mid-tone taupe" shade. Taupe colored liquid lipsticks are such a huge trend and when I saw this I had to try it. While it may be an unconventional color for some people, on me I absolutely love it.  Clueless is a little too pale for me but I prefer to wear Beeper as an everyday color more. It is a true mid-tone taupe on my lips and it's such a cool shade that I get so many compliments when I wear it. This one is definitely one of my favorites.

Next up is Kapow!

Kapow is a "Zach won't be the only guy waiting at your locker in this muted grey taupe" shade. Omg this color is amazing! On my skin tone it definitely is a muted grey taupe and so much more cool tone then Beeper. On the other hand, my friend who is much paler than me, tried this lipstick on and she pulled more purple tones from it. It still looked fabulous on her but I can see this shade looking different on different people. I love this with a cool tone eye shadow look for more a night out kind of situation. If I'm feeling super bold I would totally wear this out for the day but this shade is reserved for the night.

And finally, the last lipstick I have is the shade Bad Habit.

Bad Habit is described as "this dusty mauve pink will be a bad habit you don't want to kick". This color is definitely a deeper shade of mauve in comparison to Clueless. On my skin tone it can pull more fuchsia but it definitely still hase the mauve colors in it. I love this color for when I'm feeling bold but it's not as striking as like a red, which I prefer to wear more.
