Okay, who else got sucked in to buying this foundation when they saw essiebutton raving like crazy about it? These are amazing claims for such a different type of foundation that I couldn't but feel skeptical at first. If you want to learn more about my thoughts on the Tarte Amazonia Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation, then click on read more!

To start off, let's talk about the packaging. This foundation comes in a circular container. It's actually pretty sturdy for what it is and the lid on top closes really well. I still wouldn't suggest traveling with it simply because it is a loose powder but so far for it being in my drawer, it doesn't create any mess.

The lack of mess can totally be because of the unique design of the filtration. It's a mesh which makes it easy to pick up product without picking up too much. I really really like this distribution system.

And this is what the foundation looks like swatched. Powder is a little hard to swatch but I tried!

But what I love about Tarte is that they have these powder foundations not only in different shades but as well as undertones. So that, you can get the best possible skin tone match. I was lucky enough to find the shade and undertone for my skin.

Now when I first bought this foundation, I was the most hesitant about what the coverage of it would be like. What I want out of a foundation is at least medium coverage that I can build up to full if I wanted to. With it being a powder foundation I had the stigma that it wouldn't have coverage and that if I tried to build it up that it would just look cakey on me. But this is not the case at all.

Upon first application, the powder gives light to medium coverage. It evened out my skin tone and it lightly covered up any problem areas. When I put on another layer, I found that it gave more coverage and better concealed the areas of my face that needed concealing. With two layers of this on, my face did not look cakey at all and instead my skin looked like actual skin. It felt super comfortable on and I didn't feel any heaviness with two layers on. The powder is amazingly light.

The longevity of this powder foundation is also really good. Surprisingly, it fades well throughout the day. It's like you don't feel the powder fading or that its even there but when you catch yourself in the mirror it's just like "damn girl, your skin looks good". It's seriously one of those foundations and it lasted on me for a good eight hours.

Overall, I think that this is an amazing powder foundation, definitely one of the best that I've tried. It's comfortable and lightweight and it covers what truly needs to be covered making you look flawlessly natural. Even though it's September it still feels like the hot summer and this is something that I love to reach for if I just don't feel like wearing liquid foundation at all but wanting some sort of good coverage on my face. This was totally worth the buy!
